Ruth A. Bush Ruth Bush, 92, of Edmonds, Washington, died February 3, 2007. Ruth was born on February 22, 1914, in Los Angeles, California. Ruth spent her early life in Coronado, California, where she graduated from Coronado High School. She met her future husband Grant there and they were married shortly after graduation. They soon moved to San Diego, California, where they raised three children and spent many happy years. Ruth moved to Washington State in 1990 to be near her children. She was an avid gardener blessed with a "green thumb." Her talent in interior design was evident in her beautifully decorated homes. Mom's goals in life were to be a good wife and a loving mother, which she more than achieved. She was also a super grandmother who loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren dearly. Mom was the best mother that we could have ever wished for. We love you and miss you so very much. Ruth was preceded in death by her loving husband, Grant; and son, Kenneth. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Sandra Hansen; son, Grant Bush; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and two daughter-in-laws. Many special thanks to the caregivers at Sunrise Assisted Living of Lynnwood. They played an invaluable role in Mom's years there. A celebration of Ruth's life will be held from 1-3 p.m., Saturday, February 24, 2007, in the Community Cottage at Sunrise Assisted Living, 18625 60th Avenue West, Lynnwood, WA 98037.
