Hazel Vernon Beach 

A service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2007,
in Willamette National Cemetery for Hazel Vernon
Beach, who died March 22 at age 85. 

Hazel Morton was born July 10, 1921, in Springdale,
Ark. A homemaker, she moved in 1948 to Eugene and in
2001 to Portland. In 1942, she married Ralph W.; he
died in 2003. 

Survivors include her son, Larry; daughter, Barbara
Ruhlman; sister, Katherine Netto; brother, Ernest
Morton; three grandchildren; and four
great-grandchildren.
