| Alan E. Brunk died June 20, 2006, of renal failure at age 93. |
| Mr. Brunk was born March 3, 1913, near Exeter, Mo. He moved to Portland in 1948 and to Milwaukie in 1965. He was a conductor for Southern Pacific Railroad for 22 years, retiring in 1970. In 1936, he married Mary Vober; she died in 1987. |
| Survivors include his daughters, Joanne Hodgkinson and Kathryn Brunk; sons, Donald and David; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. |
