Dorothy Barlow
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 19, 2007, in Fremont United Methodist Church in Portland for Dorothy Barlow, who died Jan. 8 at age 89.
Dorothy Geldart was born April 21, 1917, in Philadelphia. She graduated from the University of Michigan and received a master's degree from Idaho State University. She was a high school teacher in Pocatello, Idaho, before moving to Portland in 1986. In 1940, she married Rampton; he died in 1989.
Survivors include her daughter, Patricia B. Walker; son, Richard G.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
