Elma Elizabeth Benefiel
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19, 2006, in First United Methodist Church in Portland for Elma Elizabeth Benefiel, who drowned Nov. 7 at age 78.
Elma Elizabeth Evans was born Aug. 9, 1928, in Los Gatos, Calif. She graduated from Marylhurst College. A homemaker, she also painted with acrylics and hosted a private art studio in her home in Beaverton. She had lived in Beaverton since the mid-1970s. She was a member of the church. In 1956, /cq she married the Rev. Robert L.
Survivors include her husband; sons, Robert Jr. and Carl; daughters, Jennifer Randall, Diane Walker, Rebecca Nicoli and Martha Harrison; sister, Linda Ball; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
