Robert E. Bichsel Robert E. Bichsel died on Wednesday 6/14/95 at his home in Federal Way, WA. Bob was born in Tacoma to George A. and Sarah E. Bichsel on 4/4/19. He attended Holy Rosary Grade school and graduated from Bellarmine High School in 1936 where he was Captain of the football team. He was a retired Locomotive Engineer, and served a term as local chairman of the Northern Pacific Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. During WWII, Bob served in the Army in the European Theatre of Operations. Bob was preceded in death by his daughter, Sally Jo Rust, his son, Charles McDowell, his grandson, Richard Hoglund, his twin brother, Dick and his sister, Mary Theresa Twohy. Bob is survived by his wife, Dorothy; his son, Robert and spouse, Norma; his daughter, Glenadine Hoglund; his grandchildren, Sam Rust, Bob and Jack Hoglund, Sally Mix, and Susan Raftery and spouse, Mike; his brothers, Jack and spouse, Catherine, Jim and spouse, Barbara, Tom, and Bill; 4 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Sunday, 6/18/95 at Price-Helton Funeral Chapel, 114 North Division, Auburn WA. Mass of Christian Burial will be at Holy Rosary Church in Tacoma at 11 a.m., Monday 6/19/95. Celebrant will be William J. Bichsel S.J.
