Mildred J. Beggs
Mildred J. Beggs, 86, of Pendleton, died Sept. 6, 2000, at St. Anthony Hospital.
No services will be held. Disposition was by cremation.
Mrs. Beggs was born Sept. 6, 1914, at Oakland, Calif., to August T. and Jeanette Less Hansen. She grew up in San Mateo, Calif., and attended schools there, graduating from San Mateo High School. She then attended the College of San Mateo.
On Oct. 17, 1936, she married Edward L. Beggs at Burlingame, Calf., and lived in the Burlingame area most of her life.
She loved gardening, painting, music, traveling, and spending time with her family.
She was a member of the Burlingame Women#s Club and the Burlingame Artists Association.
Survivors include her husband, Edward L. Beggs of Pendleton; daughters, Jan Conroy of Pendleton, and Diane Burns of Davis, Calif.; brother, Kenneth T. Hansen of Mill Valley, Calif.; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Burns Mortuary of Pendleton is in charge of arrangements.
