G. Barney Baker
G. Barney Baker died April 21, 2001, at age 65. Mr. Baker was born June 30, 1935, in Philadelphia. He earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Duke University and worked as a civil engineer for Babcock & Wilcox, retiring in 1997. He moved to Portland in 1995. In 1994, he married Carol Posz.
Survivors include his wife; son, Bill; mother, Mary; brother, Timothy; and two grandchildren.
