Beamon Hardy Beach 

A service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2001, in Willamette 
National Cemetery for Beamon Hardy Beach, who died Feb. 17 at age 87. 
Mr. Beach was born March 22, 1913, in Dalton, Ga. During World War II, 
he served in the U.S. Army. After his discharge, he worked in the Portland 
shipyards, was a bus driver for Rose City Transit and later was an 
inspector for the Bonneville Power Administration in Portland and Bend for 
20 years before retiring in 1975. In 1945, he married Jackie Knodel. 

Survivors include his wife; daughters, Julie Salmon and Jeanie Muratore; 
son, Gary L.; and one grandchild. 

The family suggests remembrances to the building fund of St. John 
Lutheran Church. Arrangements are by Holman-Hankins-Bowker & Waud 
Funeral Home.
