John G. Ausmus
John G. Ausmus died Oct. 28, 2006, of cancer at age 90.
Mr. Ausmus was born July 12, 1916, in Locust Hill, Mo. During World War II, he served in the Army Air Corps in North Africa and Italy. He moved to Portland in 1945. He was a diesel mechanic for Pacific Diesel Power and then owned J & J Injectors. In 1941, he married Juanita E. Walton.
Survivors include his wife; daughters, Saundra Jones, Teresa McCormick and JoEllen Lewis; brothers, Murrell, David Jr., Edward and Bill; sister, Fern Martin; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
