Joyce M. Abel-Allen
A celebration of life service will be at 5 p.m. Saturday, July 15, 2006, in Gales Creek Community Church of God for Joyce M. Abel-Allen, who died June 28 at age 80.
Joyce M. Byerly was born Sept. 6, 1925, in Kirkwood, Mo., where she was raised. She later lived in Michigan before moving to Forest Grove in 1968. She was an assembler and coil winder for Rodger's Organ Co. In 1942, she married John W. Abel; they divorced.
Survivors include her sons, John Abel and Patrick Abel; brothers, Ray Byerly and Gene Dunn; sister, Lee Chapman; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
