Arla Abrahamson


Our dear mother, grandmother, sister and friend died
unexpectedly on March 22, 2006. She was born in
Herreid, South Dakota on March 12, 1929 to John and
Ione Bickel. She graduated from Sumner High School and
resided in Napa, California and Tacoma, Washington
until her death. Arla was preceded in death by her
husband Abe and grandson Jon Moser. She is survived by
son Jim (Kathi) Moser of Lake Tapps and son Tom Moser
of Auburn, granddaughters Joelle, Marissa, Lauren and
Michelle Moser and great-granddaughters Terryn, Torie
and Ryan Moser. She also leaves behind her sisters,
Elaine Runkel, Lorraine Sander, Marilyn Courtney and
Janice Torgeson, and brothers Wes, Russell and Jerry
Bickel. She will always be remembered for her fabulous
holiday dinners, her outgoing personality and the love
and kindness she expressed to her grandchildren. She
will be missed by all! Services will be held on
Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at 11:00 am at Powers Funeral
Home, 320 W. Pioneer Ave. in Puyallup. Reception will
follow with graveside services at Sumner City
Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Arla#s name may be
made to the American Heart Association.
