Bertrand Y. AUGER Age 85. Born Sept. 20th 1921. Bert passed away peacefully in his home on Feb. 14th, 2007. He was a robust and passionate man who lived his life to the fullest, and on his own terms. A decorated WWII veteran who flew 35 combat missions as a navigator on B-17's, his commendations include the Distinguished Flying Cross, Bronze Star, and Air Medal. As a senior executive at the 3M Company, he rose to the level of vice-president. Upon his retirement, he pursued his love of art, and the pacific northwest. We will miss him. He is survived by his brother, Edgar Auger, son, John Auger (wife, Wanda Auger), daughter, Cindy Lindgren (husband, Steve Lindgren), son, Jim Auger, and grandchildren, Mike and Eric Lindgren. There will be a small Memorial Service and Celebration of his Life to be held at a later date. Please feel free to send any remembrances to a veterans charity of choice.
