A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 13, 2005, in Woodburn United Methodist Church for Robert Harold Adkins, who died Feb. 2 at age 72.
Mr. Adkins was born Feb. 22, 1932, in Los Angeles and moved to Portland as a child. He graduated from Grant High School and served in the Air Force. He appeared on television in Portland as "Addie Bobkins." He retired to Woodburn in the mid-1990s. In 1997, he married Rose Smutz.
Survivors include his wife; daughters, Alicia Adkins and Deborah Fischer; son, Matthew; stepsons, Allen Layton and Lance Elliott; stepdaughter, Kimberly Peterson; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
