Shirlie M. Allen died Dec. 1, 2003, at age 68.
Shirlie Jones was born Feb. 26, 1935, in Joplin, Mo., and moved to Portland in 1937. She graduated from Lincoln High School and was a private nanny and most recently a care provider at Simmons Adult Foster Care. In 1974, she married Stanley J.
Survivors include her husband; son, Rob Hooker; daughters, Renee Tyler and Teresa Biebrock; stepdaughter, Valorie Gustafson; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
