| Helen "Louise" ASHLEY 73, of Kenmore, died June 16, 2003 after an extended battle with sclerderma. She was born March 15, 1930 in Van Nuys, California. She was raised in West Seattle, attended the University of Washington. She worked for Safeco insurance under Retail Clerks Union and worked for the Teamster's Unions for 20+years. She is preceded in death by her first husband Richard M. Latschaw. She is survived by her children, Richard E. Latschaw and wife Viona of Snohomish, Suzanne Sturgill of Cle Elum, Robert Latschaw of Seattle, Gayle Long of Bothell, and three grandchildren Ashley Long, Kevin Latschaw and Rachael Latschaw; former husband and companion Dale Ashley; sister Alice Sigfusson, her niece Cindy Ennes and family of Chico, CA. Louise will be dearly missed by her family and beloved Malmute dog "Toliak".
