| Paul Apostolos ANDREWS Passed away at his home on November 4, 2001 surrounded by his family after a long illness. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend. Paul touched the lives of many in and out of the Greek community, and he understood the basic and essential fact of life, by giving of himself endlessly. Through that magnificent gift of giving he enriched and nourished the lives of others. By giving of himself his spirit and essence will endure and be carried forward. Paul was born in Los Angles, CA. on 9-28- 1914. He served in the US Navy during WWII on the USS Enterprise. He married Doris Sterios on 11-7-1943 and they settled in Seattle. Paul owned a delicatessen for many years in downtown Seattle, and later worked at the Olympic Hotel .. He was an avid gardener, woodworker, sports fan and joke teller. He is survived by is wife of 58 years Doris Sterios Andrews, their sons Lou and Dean, two sisters Cleo Carilas and Helen Aronis, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held a 11am on Wednesday 11-7-01 at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Assumption, 1804 - 13th Ave. Seattle, WA.98122, The family suggests remembrance be sent to the Church of the Assumption beautification fund or the American Cancer Society.
