Vickie Abrahamson Beloved mother, grandmother and sister passed away December 17, 2001. Vickie was born August 12, 1946 in Long Beach, CA, but was raised in Tacoma, WA. She is survived by her son, Jason Sinor; her daughters, Cynthia (Dave) Helzer and Erin (Greg) DeLappe. She was blessed with four loving grandchildren, Crystal and Justin DeLappe and Heather and Holly Helzer. Vickie will be sorely missed by her sister Kate Larsson, brothers Michael Patrick and Chris Smith, and their families. Vickie was very proud of the contribution she made as a custodian for 16 years with Tacoma School District. She loved the job she did and the people she worked with. Vickie had an incredible #Green Thumb# for gardening. She most enjoyed creating and giving beautiful crafts that represented hearth and home to her family and friends. Vickie was a doting grandmother. Her favorite thing was to spend time with her four grandchildren. Vickie held on long enough to witness the birth of her fourth grandchild, Holly Helzer. The family feels that in this way, the circle of life was completed. Memorial services will be held at South Tacoma Baptist Church on Friday, December 21, 2001, 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Agape Ministries.
