Michael D. Abbott
A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2001, in St. Philip Catholic Church in Woodland, Wash., for Michael D. Abbott, who died Nov. 17 at age 52. Recitation of the rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the church. Mr. Abbott was born Sept. 9, 1949, in Burbank, Calif. He graduated from The Evergreen State College. An environmental technician most of his career, he worked for Burlington Northern for about 10 years, transferring to Clark County from Seattle in 1980. He worked for CH2M in Portland for the past eight years, most recently as a project manager. In 1975, he married Marcia Prim.
Survivors include his wife; son, Richard M.; mother, Fredrica P. "Pat" Arant; and brother, Daniel.
Interment in St. Mary of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery in Ridgefield. Remembrances to Mesothelioma Family Assistance Foundation in Stafford, Texas. Arrangements by Hamilton-Mylan.
