Blair E. Alexander

Blair E. Alexander passed away July 18, 2000, at his home in Broint
surrounded in the love of friends and family. He was born in San
Francisco, CA on June 11, 1955, to Blair and Barbara Alexander. He
grew up in Seattle with brothers, Rick and Walter and sisters, Trish and
Bailey. Blair is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Kirsten; sons:
Yuri, Zeke and Kai. Blair touched many hearts with his laughter, love
and total faith that God was directing his life as well as his death. He
was at peace and joyful to be a messenger of eternal life through Jesus
Christ. Fishing, travel, friends and family were his passions. In
particular, he found joy with children in his life; his sons, nieces,
nephews, friends and neighborhood kids. Thanks to his friends at Helly
Hansen where he was employed for 11 years, most recently as Vice
President of Retail-International in Munich, Germany. Blair was able to
continue a normal, productive life as he battled brain cancer. A special
thanks to Rick Alexander, Jim Whitney and Marilyn Crawford, who
helped make it possible for Blair to die at home in peace, love and
dignity. Thanks also to the many friends and family who joined in his
final days to honor and celebrate his life - his was a most spectacular
sunset! Memorial service, 2:00 p.m., July 30 at the Brown's Point
Improvement Club, Tacoma - dress casual. In lieu of flowers,
remembrances may be made to the Blair Alexander Family Scholarship
Fund set up for his boys at any branch of Key Bank. Arrangements by
