Edamae Adamson died May 28, 2003, at age 96.
Edamae Jones was born Oct. 21, 1906, in Napa, Calif. She graduated from Ashland Normal School. She moved to Portland in the early 1960s and was a first-grade teacher at the Sylvan School. In 1928, she married Ralph L.; he died in 1937.
Survivors include her son, Gerald; four grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
