Abe A. ARONSON

Passed away Dec. 23, 2002 in a local hospital at the age of 90. He was born April
30, 1912 in New Castle, PA. and moved to Seattle in 1916. Abe graduated from
Garfield High School and the University of Washington. He served in the U.S.
Army during WWII. Mr. Aronson was the President of Aronson Industrial
Supplies (Aronson's Hardware) for 60 years. He was a member of Temple De
Hirsch and Temple Beth Shalom. He was an avid traveler, enjoyed golf and was a
supporter of the arts. In 1938, Abe married Hilda T. Winograd who passed away
in 1978. In 1980 he married Marlys Anderson, they divorced a short time later. He
married Marcelle Cohen in 1982. He is survived by his children, Michael Aronson
of Everett, Susan (Rich) Larsen of Seattle, and Celeste (Bill) Maier of Port
Angeles; three grandchildren; sister, Eva Bloch; sister-in-law, Marian Aronson. A
Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 26th at the Butterworth-
Arthur A. Wright Chapel, Queen Anne, 520 W. Raye St., Seattle, (206) 282-5500.
Interment will follow at Hills of Eternity Cemetery. Remembrances are suggested
to the Kline Galland Home, 7500 Seward Park Ave. S., Seattle, 98118.
