| Robert (Bob) Edward ALLEBACH Age 45. Born November 17, 1954, Elkins Park, PA. Bob died in his sleep February 11, and went to his heavenly home. He is survived by his devoted mother, Kay L. Du-Hadway, Seattle, WA. He was her only son (and "favorite son" as Bob referred to himself). Bob was very proud of and dearly loved his son Brandon Paul Allebach, Seattle, WA. Brandon was his first priority in life. They often visited the Museum of Flight, Discovery Park, baseball games, and stock car races. They enjoyed building and racing soapbox derby's together for the races at Westminster Church and participating in the Royal Rangers where he was Commander. Bob is also survived by his fiancee Karen Kerns, Seattle, WA. They were to be wed March 24, 2000. This past year Bob expressed to everyone how happy he was looking forward to his upcoming marriage and being a stepfather to Camden and Keana Kerns. He is survived by his loving sisters Patricia Leigh, Phoenix, AZ., Cathy Jean (Dan) St. Peter, Spokane, WA., Denise Louise Virary, Lynnwood, WA. Uncle to Dana Leigh, Nicole Knodel, Erin Ray, Anthony and Kezia Viray. Nephew to Harry and Margaret Ward, Stevensville, PA.; Mary Kay, son Stephen Ward, Towanda, PA., daughter 1st Lt. Kathleen Patricia Ward-Kohler (Lt. Aaron) stationed in Texas. Cousin to Deb (Dick) D'Alessandro, Salem, MA., son Jim (Denise) & Hailey Brennan, Tewksbury, MA., son Tim Brennan, Salem, MA.; Carolyn (Larry) sons Elliott and Bennett Jacobs, Exter, N.H.; Hank (Michelle) children Ashley and Peter Ward, Brookline Rd., N.H. At the age of eight, Bob was an honorary baseball star for the Philadelphia Phillies. He enjoyed this honor for several years. Bob, his mother and sisters moved to Seattle August 11, 1969. His early love of music and playing the guitar led him to play in many bands including music in his church. Bob graduated from Ballard High School in 1972. He worked several years with the King County Police Department transferring to the Seattle Police Department as a civilian employee, and just completed eighteen years. While with SPD - Investigation Bureau Business Department, he received a commendation from the F.B.I. for production of a resource piece on techniques in criminal tracking. He was an avid reader of medical journals, autobiographies and Ann Rule mysteries. Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 4th, 2 p.m. at Westminster Assembly of God , 14550 Westminster Way North, Seattle. Private cremation preceded this Church service.
