| Marjorie Winters Anderson died Feb. 18, 2001, at age 93. A private service will be held. Mrs. Anderson was born Aug. 13, 1907, in St. Louis and moved to Portland as a young woman. Her maiden name was Duessel. She was an office clerk for Union Pacific Railroad, States Steamship, the Oregon Journal and the lamp department of General Electric before retiring in 1968. She was a member of Rose City Park Presbyterian Church. In 1929, she married Gerould T. Winters; he died in 1965. She married Ray Anderson in 1969; he died in 1990. |
| Survivors include her son, Jerome D. Winters; daughter, Laura Winters Kvinge; stepsons, Keith and Harvey; 10 grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. |
| Interment is in Lincoln Memorial Park. The family suggests remembrances to a favorite charity. Arrangements are by Ross Hollywood Chapel. |
