Maria (Marieke) S. Alde born April 30, 1955 in Oakland CA died unexpectedly July 10, 2000 in Everett, WA.
She is survived by her husband Mark Alde and her four children, Christina, Tiasha, Jesse, and Dusty; parents Johannes and Fieke Ruys of Anacortes, as well as her brother Dan, his wife Linda and their children Steve and John.
Maria moved to Washington 14 years ago where she raised her family and met her final love Mark. She loved tending to her plants and spent anytime she could at the ocean and by the sea.
Her warm smile and tender heart will be missed by all. She dedicated her life to friends and family so unselfishly, blessing so many of our lives. Her memory will remain forever in our hearts. We've lost not only a wife and a mother, but also a best friend. We love you Mom.
A memorial will be held Friday, July 14, 2000 at 1:00pm at Schaefer- Shipman Funeral Home in Marysville for family and friends. A short reception will follow. Viewing is possible.
Arrangements have been made for Cremation.
