Alvarez, Peter "Chio"

42 passed away August 11 after a courageous 17-year battle
with Melanoma. An Arizona native from a pioneer family who
settled in Phoenix in 1887, Chio was born April 26, 1968 in
Phoenix. He is survived by his mother, Patricia B. Fuller and
father, Pedro L. Alvarez, brothers John Rockland Fuller and
David K. Fuller, sisters Connie LaMonte and Monica Harfuch,
nieces and nephews, Briana E. Fuller, Jon B. Fuller, Christie L.
Lauesen and Jason D. Lauesen. Chio attended Our Lady of
Perpetual Help Elementary School, Scottsdale. He graduated
from Coronado High School, Scottsdale and attended
Scottsdale Community College. He owned and operated
"Tree
Wise Men" for 11 years. He was the manager of Pattie's First
Avenue Lounge for 14 years, a family owned and operated
business in Scottsdale. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our
Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Scottsdale, Tuesday,
August 17 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be
made in "Memory of Peter Chio Alvarez," to UAF Arizona
Cancer Center, P. O. Box 245013, 1515 N. Campbell Ave.,
Tucson, AZ 85724-specify for Melanoma Research.
