| Marburger, Jennings Hartman Jennings "Hammer" Hartman Marburger passed away July 25, 2010; he was born on May 12, 1925 to Hartman and Emma Marburger in Evans City, PA. After graduating, he enlisted in the Navy and served in the Pacific during WWII. Married Kathleen Anne Carnahan in 1945 and they had three children. In 1950, he graduated from Colgate University and went into teaching and coaching. Later he went into management for Travelers Life Ins. Co. and then became an executive for Pan American Life Ins. Co. After the death of his first wife, in 1988 he married Ginger Fasanella Romej, formerly of Sierra Vista, AZ. In 2000, he was inducted into the Butler (PA) area Sports Hall of Fame. He is survived by his wife, Ginger; his three children, Craig Marburger, Amy Parks and Pamela Marburger Harris; her three children, Cindy Franklin, Patti Thomson, Steve Romej; 13 grandchildren and two great- grandchildren. Hammer will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, love of sports, and love of music. He endeared himself to all his many friends and will be greatly missed.
