Micciche, Donnie Coffman Born in San Francisco August 9, 1916, died at Manor Care, August 10, 2010. Studied acting in the 1930's with cast of "One Man's Family" on radio; wrote scripts, played character parts. Studied 5 yrs. piano; 5 yrs. voice; sang in concerts, operettas in So. California; wrote complete score of gypsy operetta and book on the history of light opera and musical comedy. She was a guest soloist on the Queen Elizabeth II and S.S. France and the Matson Lines. She married John Micciche in the 1950's In the 1960's, she sang for the Repertoire Club, the Garden Clubs and 20th Century Club in Reno. She wrote nine fiction books plus her autobiography. In the 1970's she began painting, producing 100 large paintings and almost 800 miniatures. Almost 94 and she continued to play the piano and paint a week before her death. She leaves her only relatives, cousin Frances Carter and her children of Newport News, Va. At her request, there will not be a service. Published in Reno Gazette-Journal on August 22, 2010
