| Kilbourn, Helen Helen Kilbourn born February 3, 1918 in Eldon, MO, passed away quietly in her sleep this past Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at 9:00 p.m. in the "Tender Loving Care" assisted living facility here in Tucson. Helen is survived by her husband, Don of Oro Valley; daughter, Sandra; four granddaughters, Morgan, Toni, Molly, and Nickie, and five great- grandchildren. Preceded in death by son, Richard. Helen and Don were married in 1942 and enjoyed 68 years of marital bliss. Helen and Don's lives revolved around Central Michigan University where Helen was surrogate mother to many of Don's foreign exchange students. Helen loved traveling, meeting people from over 50 visited countries, and learning about their cultures. Helen also loved golf and when she and Don retired to Tucson in 1991, she joined the El Conquistador's "Niners" women's golf club. Her family will miss her laugh and fun loving spirit, her delicious homemade pies, and her generous and gracious nature that she extended to everyone she met. A Celebration of life will be held Thursday, October 28, 2010, 4:00 p.m. at El Conquistador Country Club.
