Cauzza, Philip John Philip John Cauzza "Sonny," of Santa Ysabel, CA and Quemado, New Mexico, passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at 1:30 a.m. in Julian, CA, from complications of lymphoma cancer. Philip was born on February 4, 1937 in San Diego, CA, to Lillian and Albino Cauzza. His lifelong career was as a cattleman and rancher for the Santa Ysabel, Mesa Chiquita and Slash Lightening Ranches. Philip is survived by his four children: Adam, Victor "Bud," John Cauzza and Lucinda Caetana, thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nadine Cauzza; brothers Richard "Dickie" and Albert "Tino" Cauzza; and parents Lillian, Albino, and Victor Cauzza.
