Baldino, Carole (Melum) 74 8/22/1935 7/9/2010 Carole grew up on a farm in Canby. She had a delightful, spirited personality and was very generous, with a joyful heart and amazing work ethic. She once borrowed her teenage son's size 13 baseball cleats to walk to work in an ice storm. She was an inspiration and had a knack for making people feel special. She was refreshingly direct. One of her favorite sayings was, "I just call it like I see it!" As a teenager she loved riding her horse, Sugar. She worked over 30 years at Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital and Medical Center as a food server. Carole passed away peacefully with her son by her side, holding her. Carole is survived by her loving son, Lee; daughter, Colleen; brother, Marvin Melum; and her devoted friend, Robert Perkins.
