| Valles, Florentino "Tino" October 10, 1948 - July 10, 2010. Tino was a beloved husband, father, son, brother and uncle. Born in Mesa and raised in Tempe, Victory Acres. He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1966 and spent the next 27 years proudly serving his country. After being honorably discharged from the military, Tino went to work for Mountain Bell and later AT&T where he worked as a Communications Technician. He was a dedicated worker and loved his job, retiring after 32 years. He enjoyed traveling, fishing and spending time with his family. His hobbies included wood carving and working with stained glass. Tino will always be remembered for his love, generosity, and his great stories. He is survived by his wife Gracie L. Valles of 38 years; children Jessica and Carlos Valles, mother Josephine Valles and brothers Frank, Domingo, Manuel, Anolfo Jr. and his sister Olivia Valles as well as several nieces, nephews and Godchildren. Tino was preceded in death by his sister Stella Ruiz and father Arnolfo Valles Sr. "Though nothing can bring back the hour of splendor in the grass, of glory in the flower; We will grieve not, rather find strength in what remains behind?" -William Wordsworth. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., Saturday , July 17, 2010 with a Prayer Service to follow at 10:00 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Mortuary Chapel 1562 E.
