Age 68. Born Sept. 3, 1941. Began singing with the angels on 
June 21, 2010. Longtime resident of Sacramento. Beloved wife 
of the late Jack Russell Heffron. Devoted daughter of Jewell 
Logan and the late Lloyd Logan, Jr. Cherished mother of 
Andrea Nicole, Amalia Simone, Kenneth David, Adrian 
Deanette, Timothy Eric and Anita Jewell. Loving Nana of Ariana 
and Alexis. Dearest sister of Ronald, Reginald, Kenneth and the 
late Joe Logan. Longtime friend of Bertha Gorman, Fay Arnold 
and Dorothy Hyland. Nita loved jazz and performed under the 
stage names ''Brown Sugar'', ''Treasure Chest'', ''Dangerous 
Curves'', and ''Carmel Ice''. Celebration of life Saturday, June 
26, 2010, at 10 a.m. at EAST LAWN MORTUARY, 5757 
Greenback Lane, Sacramento, CA 95841. Offerings appreciated
