Isbell, Helene Viola Hattabough

Nov. 12, 1928 to June 14, 2010 Born in San Diego she lived and 
raised her family here. Wife of 62 years to Billy Isbell, Mother 
of Tom and Nancy, Grandmother of Tracie, Helene, Kelly, 
Jenna. She also lived in the USVI during the 50's and in the 70's. 
She was one of the three first ever female Deputy U.S. Marshals 
in the nation, sworn in August 1971. There will be a Memorial 
Service/Celebration of Life for Helene July 6th, 11a.m. 
outdoors at the rose garden surrounding the American flag 
pole at Liberty Station (formerly NTC) in front (facing East) of 
the Command Center, 2640 Historic Decatur Road, San Diego, 
CA 92106. We will celebrate her life, love of people, animals, 
flowers, art, beautiful colors and dancing!
