Florez, Bobby V. Bobby V Florez, 87, of Boise, passed away June 22, 2010 at a local care center. Bobby was born November 14, 1922 in Rock Springs, WY to John Felix & Edna Maude Valdez. Bobby graduated from West High School and later married Reyes Florez in Salt Lake City, UT on March 26, 1949. Bobby was very active in the PTA and served as headroom mother for many years, for all four of her children. She was always very supportive of her kids in sports & other activities. Bobby served in the Utah House of Representatives for three terms (1981-1986). She was the first Hispanic female to serve in the Utah State Legislature. She and her family operated a Receiving Home for the State of Utah. Bobby is survived by her four children: Frank (Pat) Florez, Goleta, CA; Rick Florez, Salt Lake City, UT; Tina (Michael) Bishop, Boise, ID; Bobbi Rey "Pook" Florez, Boise, ID. Ten grandchildren: Frank Florez, Jr; Anthony Florez; Timothy Florez; Jolie Cutchins; Steven Bishop; Danielle Bishop; Reyes Florez; Marc Florez; Ashlei Florez; and Brooke Florez and six great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Reyes Florez and sister Phyllis Hodges. A memorial service will be held at Life Care Center of Boise - 808 N Curtis - Boise, ID 83706 on Friday, June 25, 2010 at 2:00pm.
