Moore, Morris Townsend Jr.

Morris Townsend Moore, Jr. 63, joined his savior Jesus Christ
on June 18, 2010. He left this world surrounded by the love of
his family at his bedside after a short illness. Morris was born
on August 6, 1946 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Morris
Townsend Moore, Sr. and Dorothy Archie Moore. He was a
1964 graduate of Schenley High School in Pittsburgh. He
served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Independence and later
completed his military service in the USAF. He married Doris

union, Glenda and Angela Moore. In 1985 Morris moved his
family to Tucson, Arizona. In 1987 after 21 years of service he
retired from the Air Force after completing two tours in Viet
Nam. Morris was an experienced pilot who loved to fly
airplanes. For the past thirteen years he was employed at
Bombardier Inc. in Tucson as a lead airplane technician and was
looking forward to retirement soon. Morris also enjoyed
practicing magic. In 1995 he met his wife, Colleen Sarver
Moore and they married at a magic convention in Las Vegas,
NV on July 4, 2003. Morris loved nothing more than to perform
his magic for an audience including captive grandchildren. He
was a member of the Society of American Magicians as well as
a member of The International Brotherhood of Magicians and
served as IBM president in 2007. Gold prospecting was Morris'
hobby. He loved spending solitary time out in the desert
hunting for gold. He always said it was his way of relaxing to
get away from pressures of everyday life. Morris was preceded
