Dunkle, Henry C. Henry C Dunkle December 24, 1923 - June 23, 2010 MCMINNEVILLE, Ore. - Henry Charles Dunkle of McMinnville, Ore., formerly of Winston, Ore. went home to be with the Lord on June 23, 2010. He was born Dec. 24, 1923 at Reeds, Missouri to parents Charles and Myrtle (Duty) Dunkle. He was the only survivor of eight children born to their union. Henry worked at Roseburg Forest Products for 33 years. He loved to travel, seeing new places and also camping and fishing with his family. He loved the Lord and He was always a part of his life in whatever he did. His family was always very important to him. Henry was much loved by anyone who knew him and will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to be a part of his life. To know Henry was to love him. His wife Virginia preceded him in death in Sep., 2009. They shared a love filled 67 1/2 years. Henry is survived by his son, Larry Dunkle and his wife Irene; his daughter, Sharon Helms and her husband Tom. Henry was blessed with ten grandchildren, Lori Herr and her husband Mike, Tony Dunkle, Robert Dunkle and his wife Diane, Lisa Dunkle Hough, Charles Dunkle and his wife Jessica, Deborah Corbitt, Richard Strauss, Adrienne Ashtari and her husband Kambiz, John Helms and his wife Tammy, and Tommy Helms and his wife Kathy. They also have ten great-grandchildren, Christa, Kayla and Tommy Herr, Robert and Amy Dunkle, Kaleigh Sullivan, Erica Corbitt, Taylor Dunkle, Kiean and Nadia Ashtari; and one great-great-granddaughter, Sophie; and two more on the way. Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 26, 2010 at Taylor's Family Chapel in Winston, Oregon with a viewing for friends and family from 12noon until time of service.
