Bell, Edward H. Of Spokane, WA, born January 3, 1921, passed away July 1, 2010. He is survived by his wife, of 62 years, Peggy (Helen) and four children Kate (Templeton), of Puyallup, WA, Cyndi (Kittle), of Gold Canyon, AZ, Patti (Schulze), of Priest River, ID and Steve, of La Mesa, CA. Ed is also survived by his seven grandchildren: Ian, Monica, Cody, Kevin, Lauren, Ryan and Josh and one great-grandchild, Sabor. Ed resided in Priest River, ID from 1980-2006, when he relocated to Northpointe Retirement Community, to be with the love of his life, Peggy. Ed, (RET CWO4), proudly served our country for 36 years in the United States Marine Corps. He honorably defended our country in WWII, Korea and Vietnam, and retired July 1, 1980. He served in North Africa, Sicily, Italy, Corsica, Korea and Vietnam. He has 14 campaign stars, 6 good conduct awards and was decorated twice for Valor in combat. "ONCE A MARINE ALWAYS A MARINE" SEMPER FI. Ed loved his Corps and his family. He enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing and working in the yard. Full military honors will be present for services that will be held at the Northpointe Retirement Community, 1110 E. Westview Court Spokane, WA Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 1:30 in the afternoon.
