Cave, Margaret M. Margaret M. Cave February 11, 1926 - June 18, 2010 YAMHILL- Margaret was born in San Jose, California and spent her early years in that surrounding area. She met and married her husband of 67 years in Salinas and they moved to Oregon after the war in 1952. While she was the happiest at home raising her four children, she loved the challenge of the workplace, whether it was running her own dress shop or working as an accountant for an engineering firm. She worked crossword puzzles, read voraciously, learned to play musical instruments, did ceramics and was involved in many other artistic endeavors. She had nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many family members adopted from the heart. She will be missed greatly by those she left behind. A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Wednesday, June 23, 2010 with a funeral service following at 10 a.m., Thursday, June 24, 2010, both at Howell-Edwards-Doerksen Funeral Home. Interment following at 1 p.m. at Willamette National Cemetery, Portland. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the hospice of your choice. Published in StatesmanJournal on June 22, 2010
