Bryant, Gene Elizabeth

Born on February 22, 1927 in Sacramento, CA, the loving
daughter of Edward and Pat Lockwood, passed away on June
23, 2010 in Roseville, CA at the age of 83 years. A lifetime
resident of the Sacramento area, Gene served her country
proudly during the Korean War in the United States Navy. She
was a Financial Aid Counselor at Sierra College for many years.
Gene is survived by her cherished family, son, Bill Bryant of
Citrus Heights, CA, daughter, Barbara King (Ric) of Gresham,
OR, grandchildren, Michael King and Jennifer Simonis (Jake),
great-grandchildren, Mercede, Felicia and Hannah, sister, Edina
Fisher of Northampton, PA. Gene was preceded in death by her
husband, Harry Scofield, Jr. in 1990. Friends and family are
welcome for visitation on Sunday June 27th from 4-7 P.M. at
Lambert Funeral Home Chapel, 400 Douglas Blvd., Roseville,
CA. Funeral Services will be held on Monday June 28th at 10:00
A.M. at The Celtic Cross Presbyterian Church, 5839 Dewey
Drive, Citrus Heights, CA. Burial will follow services at Mount
Vernon Memorial Park, 8201 Greenback Lane, Fair Oaks, CA. In
lieu of flowers, contributions to the SPCA.
