Ryan, Ronald Claude

66, born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, passed away May 3,
2010 in Sonora Mexico. "Ronnie/ Uncle Ronnie" as he was
affectionately nicknamed, was proud to be from the Ryan
ancestry. The original Ryan ancestors migrated to Arizona from
Ryan, Oklahoma in the early 1900s. Ronnie attended Phoenix
Union High School and remained an active member of the Alumni
reunion committee for over 49 years. He became successful in
business due to hard work, wisdom and dedication. Throughout
his life, Ronnie learned and understood the importance of giving
back to his family and community. You could see the passion in
his Irish eyes when he spoke of the ventures going on in his life.
He was a man committed to his entire family, endearing friends
and all his business associates. Ronnie is preceded in death by his
parents, James Daniel Ryan, Wilene (Wilson) Ryan, and a brother
James Dale Ryan. He is survived by his brother Gary Ryan, son
Corey Michael Ryan , Linda Ryan, former wife of 40 years,
daughter Rindi Sue (Ryan) Hupe, three grand daughters
Stephanie, Briana and Caitlin Hupe, a great grandson Chase
Michael, and a group of loving family and friends to large to list.
Ronnie was an all-around outdoors man. He will always be
remembered for his infectious laugh, quirky sense of humor and
charming personality. From his death we begin to realize the
extraordinary way Ronnie lived. He overcame obstacles and
strived for excellence. His life gave us all memories too beautiful
to forget. Visitation is Friday June 11th, from 3- 5pm, then from
5-6pm a memorial for family and close friends at Messinger
Pinnacle Peak Mortuary, located at 8555 E. Pinnacle Peak Rd,
85255-3461,(480) 502-3378. In lieu of flowers, the family
members suggest memorial contributions be made to "Youth
Outdoors Unlimited Inc" located at 320 South 40th Place Phoenix
Arizona 85034, or a donation to a wildlife organization of your
choice.
