Prudler, Dorothy J.

Dorothy J. Prudler passed away Monday, June 7, 2010 at her
Fallon, Nevada home at the age of 88, after a short illness
surrounded by family members. Dorothy was born June 17,
1921 in Roseville, CA to Edmond R. and Edith M. Probert Allyn.
Dorothy was a loving and caring person, always giving of
herself in so many ways to all of her family members. Her love
of cooking, gardening, and interior decorating of her many
new homes over the years showed her many special talents.

Dorothy married Paul G. Prudler, Jr. on June 15, 1941. Paul
preceded her in death in September of 1986. Also preceding
her in death were sisters Edith (Honey) Harrigan, Betty Johnson,
Edna Allyn, brother Ed (Bee) Allyn, grandchildren Vance
Coverston and Chandra Coverston Petty.

She is survived by her children Paula Coverston(Mert)
Domonoske of Fallon, Bob (Janene) Prudler of Quemado, New
Mexico, Candy (Terry) Howard of Bend, Oregon, 10
grandchildren, Rick Coverston, Kendi Yates, Chad Coverston,
Shaylynn Prudler, Wendy Prudler, Aaron Prudler, Leah Ashurst,
Jessica Sanchez, Nathan Howard, and Scott Howard; 18 great-
grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be held Monday, June 14, 2010 from 6-8 PM at
Smith Family Funeral Home, 505 Rio Vista Dr., 423-2255.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 15, at 1:00 PM also
at Smith Family Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the
Fallon cemetery. A reception will follow the committal service
at the home of Mert and Paula Domonoske, 376 W. Williams
Ave. to celebrate Dorothy's life.
