Carmassi, Renza Marina Biagiotti

Renza Marina Carmassi (Biagiotti) December 14, 1923-June 
3, 2010 Renza passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 
3rd, 2010. Renza was born in Montecatini Terme, Italy, and 
moved to Oakland, California with her parents when she was 
7 years old. Renza met her husband Joe when she was 16, 
they married five years later, and were happily married for 
33 years. With the passing of her beloved husband, Renza 
enjoyed her life in Oakland with her dear friends. Her main 
enjoyment was her grandchildren. When Renza moved to 
San Rafael she took residence in Bretano House where she 
met many dear acquaintances. Renza loved to cook, she 
took great pride in making the delicious recipes carried on 
from her mother and mother in law, both native Italians. She 
had a gift with babies, she enjoyed playing and caring for 
her grandchildren. Renza is preceded in death by her 
husband (Joe). She is survived by her children, Denny (Lori), 
Billy (Lisa), also her wonderful grandchildren Angela, 
Amanda, Joey and Giovanni, along with a host of relatives 
and friends. The family wishes to thank Bretano House for 
the wonderful care provided to Renza. In lieu of flowers, 
donations may be made to Bretano House 675 Rosal Way, 
San Rafael, CA 94903. Funeral mass will be held 11am, 
Friday, June 11, 2010, at St. Theresa, 30 Mandalay Road, 
Oakland. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery.
