Allred, Mildred R.

Mildred R. Allred, 96, of Las Vegas, passed away at home, with her
family by her side, June 14, 2010. She was born Jan. 9, 1914, in
Midland, Pa. Mildred moved to Las Vegas in 1959, and worked as a
hostess at the Desert Inn Hotel until her retirement in 1984. She
was preceded in death by her husband, Roger; daughter, Ann
Kiernan; and two sisters, Dorothy Brenner and Ann Ivkovich.
Mildred is survived by her three granddaughters, Michelle Patrick,
Victoria McKee and Marla Ellis; eight great-grandchildren; two
great-great-grandsons; and two sisters. Visitation will be from
11:30 a.m.-noon Friday, June 18, with services following, both at
Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main Street. In lieu of flowers, donations
can be sent to Helping Hands of Vegas Valley.
