Johnson, James Vernon

57, of Glendale, AZ, passed away on Feb. 19,2010, from a
hard fought battle with cancer. A native of AZ, he
graduated from Glendale HS, was a Vietnam Army veteran,
and worked in concrete/construction for over 30 years. Jim
was a devoted husband to his wife of 34 years, Kathy, and
loving father to his sons Tommy and Jeremy. He was a
quiet, humble, hardworking, and loyal man who loved
hunting, hiking, fishing, and horse racing. In addition to his
wife and sons, Jim is survived by his mother, Gladys Luther,
sisters Sandi (Rick) Jones of CA and Pam Webb of PA,
aunts, nieces, nephews, and many friends. He will be
greatly missed by all. A memorial open house for family
and friends will be held on Sat., Feb. 27th, from 11:30 AM -
3 PM, at Foothills Rec. Center, 5600 W. Union Hills Dr.,
Glendale, AZ.
