Rood, Willaim G. William G. Rood, Jr., 50, of Gilbert passed away peacefully on March 4, 2010 with his family at his bedside. He was born in Phoenix on July 22, 1959, the first son of William G. Rood and Patricia Rood. He proudly served in the United States Air Force as an aircraft mechanic and loved airplanes. He also worked in his family business, Rood Cotton Harvester. He is survived by his parents, his loving wife, Michelle; and his children, William David, Micheal, Sarah North, Blake, Shawntel, Houston and Shelby, together with 3 grand children and his dog Hunter. Services will be held Monday, March 8, 2010 at 12:00 noon, with viewing one hour before the service at Green Acres Chapel of Light, 401 N. Hayden Rd. Scottsdale, AZ.
