Clausen, Ray

Age 80, Sacramento, Feb. 26, 2010. Born Aug. 11, 1929 in
Sacramento. Avid Boy Scout in his youth, graduated
Sacramento H.S. ('47), U.C. Davis ('51), founding member of
Theta Xi at Davis, served as Sergeant in the U.S. Army during
the Korean War, 50-year member of Washington Lodge #20
F.&A.M., lifelong fan of baseball, bowling (Wed. Seniors) and
Dixieland jazz. Ray helped so many as a blood donor
throughout his life. Survived by children Lisa Fitzgerald
(Pat), Eric (Krista); grandchildren Ryan, Sydney, Riley, Caden;
and loving family Margaret, Ruby, Roger, Judy, Wes, Cheryl.
Predeceased by parents James, Lillian; siblings Virginia,
James; and father-in-law Cecil. Public memorial service on
Friday, Mar. 5 at 10:00 a.m. at East Lawn Memorial Park, 43rd
St. & Folsom Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations should be
made to American Stroke Association . Always quick to
make a friend, crack a joke, or share a smile, he will always
be loved and missed.
