Trone, Raymond E. 

84 02-02-1925 01-28-2010 Raymond E. Trone, 84, passed away 
peacefully Jan. 28, 2010. He was born Feb. 2, 1925, in Coalville, 
Utah, to Guy Raymond and Mabel Hochstrasser. At age 17 he 
enlisted in the U.S. Navy and later reenlisted and joined Admiral 
Bird's expedition to the Antarctic. He married Darlene Draper in 
1947 in the Logan, Utah, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day 
Saints Temple. They had five children. Following the Navy he 
worked as a printer, carpenter, cabinetmaker and church 
custodian. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of 
Latter-day Saints and served faithfully. In addition to his wife, he 
is survived by four children, Gordon, Colleen (Brent), Paul (Katie) 
and Susan (Bruce). He was preceded in death by his first son, 
Eugene (Susan). Raymond and Darlene have 27 grandchildren 
and 21 great-grandchildren. A funeral for Raymond will be held 
at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 5, 2010, in the Gladstone LDS Chapel, 
8331 Cason Road, Gladstone, OR 97027, with a viewing from 10 
to 10:45 a.m. Interment will follow in Willamette National
