Davis, Tnaya Dee

28 of Glendale, passed away on December 14, 2009. She was
born at Luke Air Force Base, Glendale, AZ on December 20, 1980
to the union of Richard Timothy and Devorah Elizabeth
Wilhight-Davis. Tnaya grew up in Phoenix and attended
Coronado High School in Scottsdale; Citizens Two Thousand
Charter School in Phoenix and graduated in 1999 from Alhambra
High School in Phoenix. Tnaya was employed with the City of
Phoenix Water Department as a Secretary II. Previously, she was
employed four years with Maricopa Workforce in Peoria as a
Dispatcher. Love ones left to cherish Tnaya's memory are her
three children: Imani Mischele, Josiah Larthan and Jeremiah
Emmanuel Merriweather. The father of Tnaya's children: Larthan
"Wayne" Merriweather. Maternal grandparents are Mr. John and Dr.
Florence Wilhight; Paternal grandparents: The Rev Patrick Mack
Davis and Mrs. Sarah Ann Jones Davis (both deceased). Paternal
Great grandmother: Mary Francis Davis. Mother of Larthan
"Wayne" Merriweather III: Mrs. Angela Jack Williams. Siblings of
Tnaya (Mother, Devorah) John Patrick Davis. (Mother, Mary Ann
Gray Davis): Richard Timothy Davis, Jr., Samantha Marie Latasha
Davis, Rachael Davis. Tnaya is survived by many aunts, uncles,
neices, nephews, cousins and friends. Memorial services will be
Saturday, January 09. 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at First Institutional
Baptist Church, 1141 E. Jefferson St., Phoenix, AZ. Services
entrusted to Universal Memorial Center/South Mountain
Mortuary.
