Adams, Garnett Marie

Garnett Marie Adams lost her battle and succumbed to renal
failure on Tuesday, May 18th, 2010. Garnett leaves behind her
husband Larry Adams of Meridian, Idaho. Garnett was blessed
with a large extended family and leaves behind three brothers
Kenneth Kempf, Lantzville, BC, Canada; Harold and Kevin
Kempf of Nampa, Idaho. Garnett also leaves behind three
nieces Tammy Jackson, Marisa Smith and Jennifer Kempf; and
three nephews Harold Kempf Jr., Mathew Kempf, Zachary
Kempf. Garnett was born Sept. 23rd, 1952 in Oakland, Calif.
to Alvin Kempf and Dorothy Bertram. Viewing for Garnett will
be held from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., with funeral services
following at 5 p.m., Monday May 24th at the Bowman Funeral
Home, Garden City. Private burial services will be held
Tuesday May 25th at Meridian Cemetery. Pastor Chip Miller of
Treasure Valley Full Gospel Church will conduct services.
Garnett grew up in Central California. She graduated from
Blackford High School and attended De Anza College. Garnett
worked at several medical facilities over the years. Garnett
met her husband Larry Adams in 1992 and they were married 3
years later in Seattle, Washington. Garnett and Larry moved to
Boise in 1998. Garnett's life was defined by her love for her
family, her joy in the ever-changing colors of her garden, the
landscape and art she created. All who knew her will miss
Garnett.
